About the role
Role overview
Fully remote Hourly JavaScript Engineer for AI Data Training. You will review AI-generated code and explanations or generate new ones, evaluate reasoning quality, and provide expert feedback so models produce accurate, logical, and clearly explained answers.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI training content: Create high-quality prompts across topics and example responses that reflect correct understanding.
- Evaluate and optimize AI performance: Assess, rate, and compare multiple AI responses for correctness, clarity, reasoning quality, and adherence to the prompt.
- Ensure model integrity: Identify errors in methodology or conceptual understanding, fact-check information, and help validate reliability across use cases.
- Produce clear explanations: Write pedagogical technical explanations and model solutions that demonstrate correct methods.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional JavaScript experience in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of closures, async/await, prototype-based inheritance, and the JavaScript event loop.
- Deep proficiency in modern Vanilla JavaScript (ES6/ES2015+).
- Ability to evaluate correctness, readability, and performance, including subtle logic and edge cases.
- Hands-on software engineering experience, ideally including code review, mentoring, or technical design discussions.
- Experience using LLMs/AI coding assistants with a critical mindset for validating outputs.
- Excellent English writing skills; able to produce clear, concise, pedagogical technical explanations.
- Proficiency with at least one major framework or runtime:
- Frontend: React, Angular, or Vue.js; or
- Backend: Node.js with Express or NestJS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum C1 English proficiency and highly detail-oriented work style.
Nice to have
- Contributions or merged PRs in open-source JS/TS projects.
- Familiarity with tooling/bundlers: Webpack, Vite, Rollup.
- Experience with frontend-backend integration and Node.js runtime behavior.
- Reviewing typed API layers, DTOs, or schema-driven designs.
- Experience evaluating frontend logic, async patterns, and state management.
Notes
- Hourly, fully remote role.
- No immediate project, but qualified experts will be prioritized when opportunities arise.
