JavaScript Engineer

Role Overview

JavaScript Engineer (AI Training) Evaluate and improve AI-generated JavaScript code so it is correct, efficient, and aligned with modern engineering standards.

Type: Hourly contract | Commitment: 10–40 hours/week | Location: Fully remote (flexible schedule)

What You’ll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for correctness, efficiency, and adherence to modern ES6+ standards
• Write high-quality JavaScript solutions across varied difficulty levels (from utility functions to complex async logic)
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and failure modes in AI-generated web and backend code
• Provide clear, human-readable explanations of logic and problem-solving approaches
• Deliver structured, detailed feedback that helps AI models generate more reliable code
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Deep familiarity with core JavaScript concepts (e.g., async/await, closures, prototypal inheritance, DOM manipulation)
• 3+ years hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Vue
• Strong instincts for clean, readable, maintainable code
• Detail-oriented and methodical in evaluating code quality
• Able to articulate technical reasoning clearly in writing
• CS degree preferred (demonstrated experience matters most)

Nice to Have

• Experience with data labeling and RLHF or other AI training workflows
• Familiarity with TypeScript or modern JS toolchains (e.g., Webpack, Vite, ESLint)
• Background in code review, technical writing, or software quality assurance
• Experience across both frontend and backend JavaScript environments
