About the role

Role Overview

JavaScript Engineer (AI Training) You will review and improve AI-generated JavaScript code to ensure it is correct, efficient, and aligns with modern engineering standards.

Type: Hourly contract | Remote | 10–40 hours/week

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for correctness, efficiency, and compliance with modern ES6+ standards
Write high-quality JavaScript solutions across varied difficulty levels (utilities to complex async logic)
Identify bugs, edge cases, and failure modes in AI-generated web and backend code
Produce clear, human-readable explanations of code logic and problem-solving approaches
Provide structured, detailed feedback to help AI models generate better and more reliable code
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements

Deep familiarity with core JavaScript concepts, including async/await, closures, prototypal inheritance, and DOM manipulation
3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Vue
Strong instincts for clean, readable, maintainable code
Detail-oriented and methodical approach to evaluating code quality
Ability to clearly articulate technical reasoning in writing
CS (or related) degree preferred, but experience is most important

Nice to Have

Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training workflows
Familiarity with TypeScript or modern JS toolchains such as Webpack/Vite/ESLint
Background in code review, technical writing, or software QA
Experience across both frontend and backend JavaScript environments
