Javascript Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Contract JavaScript Developer (Remote) at YO IT Consulting. You’ll help build and optimize frontend solutions that support next-generation AI systems by enabling high-quality real-world user inputs. No prior AI experience is required—domain knowledge is the main factor.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize robust frontend solutions using advanced JavaScript techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces
• Lead architectural decisions and mentor junior developers; uphold best practices and code quality
• Implement modern frontend frameworks/libraries to build scalable, maintainable applications
• Perform code reviews, give constructive feedback, and advocate for clean, efficient code
• Troubleshoot complex issues and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
• Stay current with industry trends and introduce innovations to improve development workflows

Requirements

• Extensive experience building sophisticated web applications with JavaScript
• Expertise in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) and state management tools
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to drive frontend architecture and lead development initiatives
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design
• Experience working in remote, distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring/coaching developers
• Background building accessible and internationalized web interfaces
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and version control systems
