About the role

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a JavaScript Developer (Remote) to build fast, interactive web experiences and scalable Node.js services across the platform. You’ll ship features used by hiring teams and job seekers worldwide, working across the modern JavaScript ecosystem (browser to server).

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
Develop and maintain server-side logic with Node.js where applicable
Integrate frontend components with REST and GraphQL API layers
Write clean, modular, well-documented JavaScript (ES6+)
Ensure web performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
Collaborate with product and design to iterate on feature development

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Frontend experience with React, Vue, or Angular
Familiarity with Node.js and server-side JavaScript patterns
Understanding of browser rendering, web performance, and Core Web Vitals
Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or ESBuild
Comfort with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
