Role Overview

Senior Frontend Developer (JavaScript) — hourly contract, remote. Work 10–40 hours/week and design, develop, and optimize frontend applications using modern JavaScript technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize frontend applications with modern JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into intuitive UIs.
• Lead frontend architecture decisions and promote engineering best practices.
• Build scalable, maintainable frontend solutions using modern frameworks/libraries.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend issues and improve application performance.
• Research and introduce innovative technologies to enhance developer workflows and user experiences.

Requirements

• Strong experience building complex web applications with JavaScript.
• Expertise with modern frontend frameworks: React, Vue, or Angular.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong experience leading frontend architecture and development initiatives.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design.
• Experience working effectively in remote/distributed teams.
