Role overview

You’ll join a remote talent network with flexible commitment to evaluate and improve coding/system performance across multiple languages and real-world scenarios, while contributing to high-impact open-source.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and oversee evaluations for coding tasks across languages including Python, Java, C, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Develop test cases to assess system performance across diverse engineering scenarios
• Analyze system behavior on real-world use cases to identify strengths and improvement areas
• Communicate evaluation insights/results to research teams
• Contribute to open-source projects and support system optimization

What we’re looking for

• Strong open-source contributions with an active GitHub (or similar) profile
• Strong experience in one or more: Python, Java, C, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Deep familiarity with widely used libraries, frameworks, and development tools
• Strong understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and scalable code patterns
• Collaboration experience with distributed/asynchronous teams
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities independently and execute with minimal oversight
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and open-source workflows
