Role Overview

BairesDev is seeking a Software Engineer (JavaScript Developer) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. You’ll work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative, scalable applications on diverse client projects.

Responsibilities

Design and implement software solutions based on project requirements and specifications
Write clean, scalable, efficient code following best practices and coding standards
Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, and timelines
Test and debug applications to ensure functionality and performance
Maintain and enhance existing software (bug fixes and feature improvements)
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development practices
Document technical specs, architecture, and development processes

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Proven software development experience with strong fundamentals in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
