Javascript Developer

Role Overview

As a JavaScript Developer at EmetLab, you will build dynamic, interactive applications and services that support how clients and contributors work with elite AI training data infrastructure. You’ll design and deliver frontend and backend features in collaboration with Product and Design to create seamless, high-performance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript
• Develop interactive features such as:
  • Contributor task workflows
  • Dataset configuration tools
  • Quality review dashboards
  • Real-time progress tracking
• Collaborate with Design and Product to translate wireframes/specs into accessible, polished UX
• Build and maintain backend services with Node.js, focusing on reliability, scalability, and clean API design for data pipeline integrations
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code with an emphasis on performance, accessibility, and long-term maintainability
• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical discussions
• Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong command of modern ES6+ patterns and best practices
• Frontend framework experience (React, Vue, or Angular)
• Node.js experience for APIs and backend services
• Experience building data-rich interfaces/dashboards/enterprise platforms where performance and clarity matter
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and building inclusive interfaces
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
