About the role
Role Overview
Join the team as a Full Stack Developer working on a sophisticated distributed platform. You’ll develop and maintain both frontend and backend modules and collaborate with technical leadership to deliver features across servers in the US and Asia.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend using Node.js and NoSQL databases.
- Implement user stories, UX mockups, and technical specifications.
- Write and maintain automated unit and functional tests to ensure quality and reliability.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs in development and post-deployment.
- Build and package releases and deploy to Linux-based servers in the US and Asia, managing testing and production environments.
- Participate in Scrum activities (planning, reviews, retrospectives).
- Conduct technology surveys and prototype improvements in collaboration with technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Demonstrable experience in full stack development from frontend through to the database layer.
- Familiarity with MVC frameworks and modern testing technologies.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Couchbase or MongoDB.
- Experience with distributed systems and deploying on Linux servers.
- Ability to translate UX mocks and user stories into reliable, testable code.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong autonomy and self-motivation to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
