Role Overview

Senior Frontend Developer (JavaScript) — hourly contract. Remote (United States). 10–40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize frontend applications using modern JavaScript technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive UI
Lead frontend architecture decisions and promote engineering best practices
Implement scalable, maintainable solutions using modern frontend frameworks/libraries
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Troubleshoot complex frontend issues and optimize application performance
Research and introduce innovative technologies to improve development workflows and user experiences

Strong experience building complex web applications with JavaScript
Expertise with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong experience leading frontend architecture and development initiatives
Solid understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design
Experience working effectively in remote/distributed teams
