Role Overview

Part-time, remote JavaScript Developer supporting client projects for teams based in UAE (Dubai), Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain front-end features using modern JavaScript
Write clean, reusable code
Integrate and work with APIs (RESTful)
Debug and resolve issues; ensure responsive and accessible UI
Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and project managers
Review requirements, estimate effort, participate in code reviews
Apply best practices for performance, security, and maintainability
Communicate progress regularly, work across time zones, and manage tasks independently

Strong proficiency in core JavaScript and modern frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
HTML5 and CSS3 with responsive web design for cross-browser/device compatibility
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and front-end/back-end integration
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
Understanding of web performance optimization, basic security practices, and browser debugging tools
Ability to read/interpret technical requirements and deliver reliable code with minimal supervision
Clear English written and spoken communication
Ability to work in distributed, multicultural teams

Prior remote or freelance development experience
Exposure to GCC or international clients
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
