Java Softwareentwickler - Backend & Microservices (w/m/d)

Role Overview

Java Software Developer (Backend & Microservices) You will work on client software development projects from technical conception through successful implementation. You’ll apply your expertise in modern Java architectures and frameworks while collaborating closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers.

Responsibilities

• Independently consult on, design, and implement customer IT projects
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in classic and agile development teams
• Develop modern client-server applications (web frontend + Java backend)
• Partner with customers through open communication and collaboration with stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in developing Java Enterprise applications with Spring / Spring Boot
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Oracle DB
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with modern development tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube
• Enjoy working with agile practices and quality techniques such as TDD, Clean Code, Continuous Integration, and test automation
• German language skills (at least C1)

Nice to Have

• Interest in DevOps and Cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Enjoy sharing knowledge with colleagues and onboarding/joining training for new developers

Work Setup & Culture
