Role Overview
Join a remote team as a Senior Software Engineer (Contract), helping to train next-generation AI systems through high-quality real-world engineering inputs. No prior AI experience is required—your software/domain expertise is what matters.
Responsibilities
- Apply expertise to help models learn, reason, and perform via production-grade, high-quality software inputs.
- Develop features and refactor existing codebases for maintainability.
- Debug complex software issues and deliver reliable solutions.
- Optimize performance and scalability of systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including remote stakeholders.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews and contribute to software best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python 3, Java, Rust, or TypeScript (with additional strength in C++ or Go considered a plus).
- Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Strong performance tuning experience.
- Proven ability to deliver maintainable solutions and refactor codebases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
- Track record collaborating in remote and cross-functional environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale distributed codebases.
- Familiarity with modern AI/ML systems (a plus, not required).
