Role Overview

Avanciers is seeking a Java Full-stack Developer with React for a long-term remote contract with a client in the United States.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and analytics-driven APIs
Develop microservices and SOA-based solutions
Design and implement backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
Develop frontend components using React (or similar frameworks)
Use strong SQL to support application data and reporting needs
Work with Git, CI/CD, debugging, and performance tuning
Apply Spec Driven Development (SDD) practices
Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor) during daily development

Requirements

12+ years of Java development experience
Expertise in Java Spring Boot REST APIs and microservices architecture
Strong experience designing and building RESTful and analytics-driven APIs
Experience with React (or similar frontend frameworks)
Strong SQL knowledge: MS SQL Server and MySQL
Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, debugging, and performance tuning
Familiarity with Spec Driven Development (SDD)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with AWS and/or Azure
Experience with analytics reporting platforms
Daily use of AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot / Claude / Cursor
