Java - Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

Contract, remote Java Full Stack Developer role at Dhyati. You’ll build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications end-to-end, contributing to system design and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
• Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend applications
• Contribute to system design/architecture for scalable and distributed systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems
• Mentor junior developers and support team growth

Core Qualifications

• 7–9 years of full-stack development with Java and Spring Boot
• Strong RESTful API development experience and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Angular or React
• Strong relational database skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and system design principles
• Experience with Git version control

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Developer)
