Java Full Stack Developer

Role overview

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer for a 100% remote (Continental United States), full-time direct W2 role. You will architect, design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems across multiple business domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine scalable microservices using Java (11/17) and Spring Boot, ensuring services are independently deployable and aligned to enterprise architecture.
• Write secure, well-tested production code following internal standards and incorporating defense-in-depth (e.g., input validation, authentication, encryption in transit and at rest).
• Develop responsive, component-based front-end applications using React (or equivalent frameworks), with focus on UX, accessibility, browser compatibility, and performance.
• Own the end-to-end engineering lifecycle, from translating business requirements into technical designs to deployment and operational support.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, and developers in an Agile environment to deliver secure, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience.
• Deep backend expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Strong hands-on experience building front-end applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
• Ability to produce production-quality, secure, tested code.
• Must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee (no C2C/1099/third-party arrangements).
• Technical coding assessment is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting applications through their full operational lifecycle (deployment to ongoing operations).
