Role overview

Senior Java/DevOps Engineer (CI/CD Pipelines & Docker)

Work in a 100% remote setup, being operational from day one to design, run, and improve CI/CD pipelines while handling production/operational issues.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD pipeline management: design, implement, and maintain integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
• Incident & operations support: handle broken pipelines, Jenkins errors, new Docker environment setups, and other operational problems.
• Development & automation: build new applications and scripts in Java and Python, including integration steps for mobile apps into the pipelines.
• Pipeline as code: manage and optimize build/deploy processes as code, ensuring traceability and efficiency.
• Cross-team collaboration: coordinate with development and operations using Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket) to document incidents and developments.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a Technical Consultant with Java and DevOps.
• Practical Jenkins experience for CI/CD (integration and continuous deployment).
• Docker experience and ability to create pipelines as code.
• Python knowledge for scripting and automation.
• Atlassian suite experience: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
• Ability to work operationally from day one, managing incidents and new developments independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-velocity DevOps/Development projects.
• Advanced knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating mobile apps into build pipelines.
• Relevant Java/DevOps/Jenkins certifications.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies in multidisciplinary teams.
