Role Overview

Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java + Angular) for regulated SaaS solutions.

Location/Work model: Remote (with travel as needed for company meetings). Must live in DC, TX, FL, NY, PA, or WA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, release, and support regulated SaaS-based applications.
• Build full-stack features to address real customer needs.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve engineering processes.
• Advocate for and implement automation where possible.
• Participate in all phases of the solution lifecycle with business and technology teams.
• Perform code reviews and ensure solutions meet compliance and documentation requirements.
• Understand business processes and deliver user-focused technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in SaaS and/or FDA-regulated environments.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with Angular, Spring Boot, and Spring Reactive/WebFlux.
• Experience with modern data and platform technologies: Postgres, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, Kafka.
• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, and Reactive Programming.
• Agile experience in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira and GitLab, plus release management platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in regulated environments with formal documentation practices.
• Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience in Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments.

Nice-to-Haves

• AWS experience.
• Familiarity with Amazon Q or other AI tools in engineering workflows.
• Background in biomedical/healthcare/blood or other regulated industries.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
