Java Developer | Remote

Role Overview

Java Developer (hourly contract, remote), working 10–40 hours/week. You’ll design, build, and maintain Java-based applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient Java applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across applications
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and integration planning
• Document technical designs, workflows, and processes clearly

Requirements

• Expert-level Java proficiency with a strong portfolio of projects
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with Git (version control)
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote collaborative environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
