About the role

Role Overview

Precision Technologies Corp is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The role is W2 full-time and will work onsite, hybrid, or remote depending on client requirements, within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java-based technologies
Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, architects, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions
Write clean, reusable, maintainable code using industry best practices
Troubleshoot issues and resolve production defects
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Optimize performance, scalability, and security
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of Java development experience
Strong experience with:
- Java 8/11/17
- Spring Boot
- Spring MVC
- Microservices
- REST APIs
- Hibernate/JPA
- SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
Experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
Solid understanding of OOP concepts
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Containerization/orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
Messaging: Kafka or RabbitMQ
Frontend exposure: React or Angular
Domain experience in banking, healthcare, insurance, or retail

Location / Work Mode

United States: Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote depending on client requirements
