About the role

Role Overview

You will join an agile development team to extend and evolve modern authentication and identity-management solutions for security-critical, high-scale applications running in the cloud.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance backend applications using Java
Design and implement authentication and authorization solutions
Work on Identity & Access Management (IAM) topics
Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS
Deploy and run services in a Kubernetes environment
Ensure strong standards for security, quality, and performance

Requirements

At least 4 years of software development experience with Java
Experience building modern backend systems and microservices
Solid knowledge of Authentication & Authorization, e.g. OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, Keycloak or similar technologies
Experience with AWS and containerized applications
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
Very good German skills

Nice-to-haves

Background working with Identity Management / SSO integrations and security-critical systems
