About the role
Role Overview
Inherent Technologies is hiring an Onshore Java Developer for a 1-year engagement focused on modern Java application development and security modernization. The work includes migrating Java applications from LDAP authentication to ForgeRock.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Migrate existing Java applications from LDAP to ForgeRock authentication.
- Implement secure coding practices using Spring Security.
- Develop and enhance RESTful services using Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely resolutions.
Required Skills
- Java (Core Java and Enterprise Java)
- Spring Boot
- Spring Security
- LDAP and Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts
- ForgeRock migration experience (or similar IAM modernization experience)
- REST APIs and Microservices
- Git and CI/CD tools
- 5+ years of Java development experience with strong expertise in Spring and application security
- Healthcare experience (mandatory)
- Note: Listed as mandatory skills: Java, Springboot, LDAP to ForgeRock, Spring Security, REST APIs and Microservices, Healthcare exp.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare domain experience, especially payer/provider systems
- Experience with Value Based Care programs and healthcare applications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
