Role Overview

Java Developer supporting the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of complex DoD enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and implement Java application code for enterprise systems.
Troubleshoot complex issues in development environments.
Collaborate with multi-site teams to identify, resolve, and test fixes for issues affecting new modules.
Optimize and performance tune developed code.
Work in an Agile Scrum environment.

Requirements

Active DoD Secret clearance required.
10+ years of object-oriented development experience.
5+ years hands-on Java and J2EE development.
5+ years hands-on Oracle database design and development (includes PL/SQL).
5+ years full-stack application development with strong back-end architecture.
Agile development experience.
Experience with T-SQL & PL/SQL.

Frontend / Backend Skills

JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
AngularJS, React
Bootstrap 4+
Backend: Java 11+, Java Core
JDBC, J2EE, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Hibernate
Backend database: Oracle 12+

Preferred Qualifications

CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure).
AWS Cloud experience.
Version control (GitLab, GitBash).
Maven build tools.
Authentication/authorization: LDAP, OAuth, SAML.
RESTful API development (including AWS API Gateway).
DoD system development experience.
Security+ certification.
