Java Backend / Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

Java Backend / Full Stack Developer (AWS) working on enterprise Java applications and backend services, with optional full-stack UI development based on needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade Java applications and backend services.
• Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
• Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Build responsive user interfaces using ReactJS or Angular with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate across the SDLC with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, and Architects.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical design/architecture discussions.

Requirements

• Experience building backend services and microservices with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Strong API development with REST and integration of third-party services.
• Database design/optimization for relational and NoSQL systems.
• AWS experience for cloud-native application development.
• Experience with UI development using ReactJS or Angular plus JavaScript/TypeScript and web fundamentals (HTML/CSS).
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization and application security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated deployments.
• Agile/Scrum participation and collaboration across product/QA/architecture teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Deep familiarity with Spring Cloud patterns and microservices operational concerns (monitoring/performance).
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL database technologies.
