About the role

Role Overview

Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend software solutions that address complex problems and improve system performance.

Location/Work setup: Remote (PST) • Shifts: 8:30 AM PT – 5:00 PM PT

Contract: 6-month contract (possible extension)

Compensation: $35/hr on W2

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for complex problem-solving.
Enhance system performance through backend development.
Build and maintain backend services, with a focus on microservices.

Requirements

Java 8+ with strong hands-on experience.
Spring Boot.
Experience building microservices.
PostgreSQL (required).
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
3 years of experience.
Eligibility: US Citizen or Green Card only on W2.

Nice to Have

Strong AWS experience with some Azure exposure.
Basic frontend development experience.
