About the role

Role Overview

IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d) in Detmold (recruitment to support the technology team). You will operate, administer, and further develop highly available infrastructure in a data center environment, and provide technical support for internal users and customers.

Responsibilities

Operate, administer, and improve high-availability infrastructure in the data center environment
Administer and run hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including:
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs
- Microsoft Azure, M365
- Entra ID, Intune
- OneDrive for Business, SharePoint
Secure and maintain a virtualized server environment using:
- VMware, vSphere, Storage, ESXi
Perform data backup and recovery processes using Veeam Backup & Replication
Configure and administer firewalls (Sophos)
Provide internal support (and technical 2nd level support for customers)
Install and maintain the company’s own software solutions (KDV-Lohn, KDV-ZDE)
Implement IT security policies (VdS10000)
Set up new customer environments and support server migrations and software issues

Requirements

Completed training as a specialist for system integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or comparable qualification
Practical experience operating and administering IT environments
Experience administering server, client, and network environments (Windows/Linux)
Structured, solution-oriented, independent working style
Friendly communication skills and helpful, customer-focused attitude

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (helpful, not required)
