IT Scrum Master

Role Overview

The IT Scrum Master oversees the daily operations and maintenance of the organization’s Business Systems, ensuring coordination between vendors, staff, and providers. The role facilitates adherence to Scrum/Agile practices to improve team processes and outcomes, and supports long-term planning and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support long-range planning for business systems enhancements and implementations
• Help develop and maintain business systems architecture and design
• Facilitate daily standups and participate in sprint reviews
• Provide administrative support for scrum boards and maintain scrum tools
• Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders
• Regularly analyze burndown charts and portfolio planning tools

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in application environments and required certification
  • OR Associate’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience and required certification
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification required for the applicable education level
• Valid driver’s license
• Residency within North Carolina

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed computer environments and integrated software packages (email, Windows, Microsoft Office)
• Experience writing and executing SQL statements
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft MTA, MCSA, MCSD, or equivalents
