About the role

IT Project Manager (North American Service Delivery)

As an IT Project Manager in the North American Service Delivery group, you will ensure in-scope, on-time, and on-budget delivery of identification system solutions for U.S. state government customers.

Responsibilities

Project initiation and planning

  • Define scope with stakeholders, including objectives and deliverables
  • Allocate resources (time, money, personnel)
  • Create timelines with milestones and deadlines
  • Establish and manage budgets (labor and expense categories)
  • Forecast costs and track financial performance vs. approved budget
  • Produce financial reports for stakeholder visibility

Schedule management

  • Build a baseline schedule aligned to the initial budget
  • Track and update schedule status by maintaining actual vs. planned dates
  • Provide milestone-based schedule progress reporting relative to baseline

Stakeholder communication and execution

  • Provide regular updates via meetings, email, and reports
  • Collect and incorporate feedback into the project plan
  • Resolve conflicts/issues among stakeholders to stay on track

Risk and team coordination

  • Identify risks, develop mitigation/contingency plans, and monitor them continuously
  • Delegate tasks based on team skills and expertise
  • Monitor performance to ensure timely delivery and required quality
  • Support and guide team members when issues arise

Reporting and continuous improvement

  • Collect project performance data (e.g., task completion rates, quality metrics)
  • Analyze trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare and present detailed progress reports to stakeholders

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Ability to travel approximately 4–12 weeks/year

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or similar), or Business (or equivalent combination of education/experience)

Nice-to-haves

  • Preference for candidates with reasonable proximity to Virginia, North/South Carolina, New York, or Wisconsin (work model: remote)
