IT Project Manager (Retail Store Technology & Cybersecurity)

Role Overview

IT Project Manager focused on Retail Store Technology & Cybersecurity delivering high-priority IT transformation initiatives. This is a 100% remote contract role with EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of retail technology and cybersecurity projects
• Create and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, Security, Architecture, Finance, and Business units
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
• Drive governance, project reviews/approvals, and compliance requirements
• Provide regular status updates and executive-level communications
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, forecasts, and contractual deliverables
• Ensure alignment across multiple workstreams while maintaining timelines and objectives

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Strong retail industry experience
• Hands-on management of store technology projects such as:
  • POS
  • Self-checkout systems
  • In-store tablets
  • Related retail platforms
• Experience leading cybersecurity initiatives including:
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Security Remediation
  • Risk Mitigation
• Proven success delivering complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and delivery methodologies
• Experience managing budgets and vendor/project financials
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow Portfolio Management
• Proficiency with Smartsheet and/or Jira (or similar tools)
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives
