IT Project Manager

Role Overview

As an IT Project Manager at IEM, you will own the success of projects from the IEM IT project portfolio—from planning through closure. The role is hands-on and includes planning, execution, stakeholder management, budgeting, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT development projects end-to-end (planning to closure)
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, and task/resource scheduling
• Build understanding of business goals and translate stakeholder needs into successful outcomes
• Manage and communicate customer expectations
• Report project status and risks and escalate issues as needed
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and external partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to deliver milestones
• Deliver projects using an appropriate approach (Agile, Waterfall, SDLC, Hybrid)
• Ensure project documentation is stored on the project site
• Follow compliance and security policies and procedures

Team / People Management

• This role does not supervise or manage other people.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• 6+ years of IT Project Management experience (specifically)
• Strong ability to manage and influence difficult stakeholders
• Solid understanding of SDLC and strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall principles
• Familiarity with project management / Agile / Scrum tools
• Demonstrated leadership and influence without direct people management
• Excellent written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage enterprise-wide, cross-functional projects and drive change
