IT - Delivery and Release Manager

Role overview

Own the end-to-end software release delivery process. Drive Agile execution across multiple teams and coordinate between engineering and business stakeholders to improve release quality, minimize risk, and continuously enhance delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full release lifecycle (planning, execution, and post-release activities)
• Build and maintain release schedules and calendars
• Align timelines across cross-functional teams and stakeholders for synchronized delivery
• Coordinate release execution with Architecture, QA, DevOps, and Operations
• Run release retrospectives and track Root Cause Analysis (RCA) progress
• Identify, mitigate, and manage risks impacting delivery timelines and/or quality
• Maintain delivery data and documentation in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Teams
• Support broader engineering processes: planning, estimation, demand intake, and process improvement

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of Release or Delivery Management experience using Agile methodology
• 3+ years of professional work experience in a technology-related field
• Demonstrated experience with release retrospectives, RCA, and release documentation
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitLab, Stash) and DevOps practices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
