iOS / Swift / Node Engineer

Role Overview

Build and ship high-performance iOS applications (Swift) and backend APIs (Node.js) as part of a remote engineering team. You will use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and documentation while translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance iOS apps using Swift
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Use AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Codex) to speed up development and improve code quality
• Develop scalable RESTful APIs and integrate mobile apps with backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code; follow engineering best practices
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX designers, and business stakeholders

Required Skills

• Strong Swift and native iOS development experience
• Hands-on Node.js experience and backend API development
• Demonstrated ability to direct and leverage AI coding assistants (Claude/Codex or similar)
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Experience with Git

Nice to Have

• Experience contributing to security requirements and mature CI/CD and automated test workflows
• Familiarity with emerging AI-assisted development techniques and mobile technologies
