iOS Software Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract iOS Software Engineer (Remote) to build and enhance an iOS app for a platform that connects domain experts with the development of frontier AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy advanced iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI, following best practices.
• Integrate and manage API connections for robust data handling and real-time functionality.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver cohesive app features.
• Optimize iOS application performance, responsiveness, and reliability across supported devices.
• Apply architectural patterns such as MVC to keep the codebase scalable and maintainable.
• Ensure secure and efficient data handling throughout the application lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Swift and its ecosystem.
• UI development experience with UIKit and SwiftUI (including responsive design and accessibility).
• API integration and networking experience, including JSON/XML handling and RESTful or GraphQL services.
• Knowledge of MVC (or similar) architectural patterns with ability to write clean, scalable code.
• iOS performance optimization experience.
• Understanding of secure coding and mobile data protection.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with clear communication.

• Experience contributing to AI/ML-related applications or platforms (implied by the project domain).
