iOS Software Engineer (Remote)

Contractor role to build and improve advanced iOS applications for a platform connecting domain experts to the development of frontier AI models.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI with strong coding practices.
• Integrate and manage API connections for robust data handling and real-time app functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend) to deliver cohesive app features.
• Optimize iOS performance for speed, responsiveness, and reliability across supported devices.
• Apply architectural patterns such as MVC to keep the codebase scalable and maintainable.
• Ensure secure and efficient data handling throughout the application lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Swift and its ecosystem; solid understanding of best practices.
• UI development experience with UIKit and SwiftUI, including responsive design and accessibility.
• API integration and networking experience, including handling JSON/XML and implementing REST or GraphQL services.
• Experience with architectural patterns (e.g., MVC) and writing clean, maintainable, scalable code.
• Experience with iOS performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of secure coding and mobile data protection principles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with clear communication.
