Role overview

Contract iOS Software Engineer (Remote) to build advanced iOS applications for a platform that connects domain experts to frontier AI model development. Your work will help shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform via high-quality real-world input.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy iOS apps using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI with strong coding practices
Integrate and manage API connections for robust data handling and real-time functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, backend) to deliver cohesive app features
Optimize app performance for speed, responsiveness, and reliability across supported devices
Apply architectural patterns such as MVC to keep the codebase scalable and maintainable
Ensure secure and efficient data handling throughout the app lifecycle

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Swift and its iOS ecosystem/best practices
UI development experience with UIKit and SwiftUI, including responsive design and accessibility
API/networking knowledge, including handling JSON/XML and building REST or GraphQL services integration
Familiarity with MVC (or similar) and ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable code
iOS performance optimization experience
Secure coding practices and data protection principles for mobile apps
Ability to work independently in a remote setup with clear communication

Nice-to-haves

Experience building apps that support real-time/AI-enabled workflows and high-stakes data handling
