iOS Software Engineer, Host Pricing

Role overview

Airbnb is hiring an iOS Software Engineer for the Host Pricing UI Foundations team. You’ll help build the next generation of iOS tools and features that enable Airbnb hosts to manage pricing and availability day-to-day, supported by insights and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Experience Designers, Product Managers, and engineers) to design and deliver high-quality iOS products.
• Build efficient, reusable mobile components and implement reliable, performant, scalable iOS solutions.
• Develop Host pricing and availability functionality and surface insights/analytics.
• Contribute significant components and platform requirements in collaboration with engineers and architects.
• Explore problem spaces with product and design partners and help devise customer solutions, including recognizing technical challenges early.
• Identify areas for improvement and drive mobile best practices in the team.
• Work hands-on on edge cases and issues that arise when developing at scale.

Requirements

• 2–4 years developing iOS applications at scale with high user volume.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS (or equivalent professional experience).
• Strong expertise in Swift or Objective-C, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Knowledge of UI architecture and UI performance.
• Strong product sense and passion for UI/UX; able to communicate effectively with non-technical partners.
• Proven collaboration with Product Management, Design, Data, and other iOS/Android/Web engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid engineering fundamentals: data structures and asynchronous programming.
• Experience optimizing iOS performance and working with performance metrics.

Nice to have

• Experience leveraging AI tools and platforms.

• US – Remote Eligible (occasional office work or offsites may be required as agreed with your manager).
