Role overview

Join DataAnnotation as an iOS Software Engineer - AI Trainer to help develop and improve cutting-edge AI systems. Work is project-based and designed to be flexible, with opportunities to contribute alongside a large community of engineers supporting AI coding and evaluation tasks.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development.
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

Fluent English (native or bilingual).
Excellent writing and grammar skills.
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress.
Programming proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
Prior experience as a Software Developer/Engineer/Programmer is preferred.

Nice to have

Kotlin experience (preferred).

Work model & compensation

Fully remote and flexible scheduling.
Paid hourly for projects: up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance).
Payments made via PayPal.

Work available only for people based in: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
