About the role

Role Overview

Join the Poe iOS team as an iOS Engineer to design, build, and maintain the Poe iOS application. You’ll work on features that deliver a smooth user experience while leveraging the latest AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new features for the Poe iOS app
Translate product requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product, design, and backend teams
Maintain and improve existing codebases, including debugging, updates, and reliability/security enhancements
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
Stay current with iOS development trends and AI advancements
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate AI models and APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and responsiveness

Requirements

3+ years of iOS development experience building robust mobile applications
Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
Solid understanding of iOS frameworks and architecture
Experience integrating third-party APIs/SDKs, especially in AI or cloud-based services (highly desirable)
Familiarity with modern practices such as Agile, CI, and automated testing
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience with AI integrations and SDKs
