iOS Engineer

Role overview

You will work on the Poe iOS app, building and maintaining a state-of-the-art iOS application that integrates multiple AI models to deliver seamless, real-time AI interactions for users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the Poe iOS application with robust performance and scalability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ship new features and improve existing ones
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional iOS experiences while maintaining consistency and usability
• Optimize app performance using efficient coding and regular testing
• Integrate AI models and APIs to enable real-time AI interactions
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback while following coding standards
• Stay current with iOS development trends and adopt innovative solutions
• Ensure security and privacy of user data in line with industry standards and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience building iOS apps with Swift and Objective-C
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks and UI/UX best practices
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and proactive project management
