About the role

Role overview

You will join the Poe team as an iOS Engineer, designing, developing, and maintaining the Poe iOS app. You’ll work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build a seamless, high-performing mobile experience for interacting with advanced AI models.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new features for the Poe iOS application
Translate product requirements into technical specifications and high-quality code
Maintain code quality via code reviews, testing, and documentation
Troubleshoot bugs and optimize performance and responsiveness
Ensure compatibility across iOS devices and OS versions
Stay current with iOS best practices and development trends
Contribute to the product roadmap and participate in Agile development

Requirements

3–5+ years of iOS development experience building scalable, user-centric mobile apps
Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
Solid understanding of iOS frameworks and APIs
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Ability to integrate AI/ML functionalities in mobile apps (highly desirable)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (preferred)

Nice-to-haves

Experience integrating AI or machine learning capabilities into iOS apps
