About the role

Role Overview

You will join the team as an iOS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the Poe iOS application, which provides a single interface for multiple leading AI models. You’ll collaborate with the product team to ship new features, improve scalability, and build developer tools that speed up iteration.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new iOS features for the Poe app
Ensure high performance and responsive user experiences
Collaborate cross-functionally to turn requirements into working mobile solutions
Build and maintain a robust, scalable app architecture to support rapid iteration and deployment
Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews
Troubleshoot issues to keep the app experience seamless
Stay current with iOS trends and apply best practices
Participate in sprint planning and contribute to improving development processes

Requirements

Proven experience building and maintaining scalable iOS apps
Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
Strong understanding of iOS frameworks and architecture
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
3+ years of professional iOS app development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field (typically required)

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
