About the role

Role Overview

Join Quora as an iOS Engineer working on Poe, building and maintaining the Poe iOS application. You’ll help create AI-driven features and improve how millions of users interact with AI models.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the Poe iOS app
Translate UI/UX designs into functional iOS code
Optimize app performance and ensure compatibility across iOS devices/versions
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement new features (especially AI capabilities)
Conduct code reviews and maintain high code quality
Write unit tests
Stay current on iOS and AI/ML advancements
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs
Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to technical strategy

Requirements

Strong iOS development background with proven delivery of high-quality apps
Extensive experience with Swift and Objective-C
Solid understanding of iOS frameworks and SDKs
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly

Nice to Have

Experience integrating AI or machine learning features into mobile apps
Computer Science/Software Engineering degree (preferred)
