About the role

Role overview

Quora is seeking an iOS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the Poe iOS application, an AI-powered platform that brings leading AI models into one accessible interface. You’ll work closely with product and backend teams to implement AI-driven features, improve mobile scalability, and enable rapid iteration and deployment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the Poe iOS app with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ship AI-driven iOS features
Implement new functionality and optimize existing features using user feedback and data analytics
Build a robust, scalable mobile architecture that supports fast release cycles
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality delivery
Stay current with iOS technology trends and AI/machine learning advancements

Requirements

Strong iOS development experience with Swift and Objective-C
Solid knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM or VIPER
Experience with RESTful APIs, integrating third-party SDKs, and handling asynchronous data flows
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to work effectively in a small collaborative team

Nice to have

Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and experience building or working with AI-driven applications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
