About the role

Role Overview

Join Poe as an iOS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the Poe iOS application. You’ll build scalable iOS solutions that shape how users interact with AI models on mobile devices.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy high-quality iOS features for the Poe app
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement new features aligned with product goals
Maintain and improve existing iOS codebases for performance, security, and scalability
Partner with UI/UX to build intuitive, engaging user experiences
Integrate AI models and APIs into the mobile application
Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and optimize app performance
Stay current with iOS best practices and incorporate new trends into development
Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and tooling

Requirements

3–5+ years of iOS development experience building robust mobile applications
Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
Solid understanding of iOS frameworks, design patterns, and best practices
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice to Have

Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into mobile apps
Degree in Computer Science or related field
