Role Overview

Join Quora’s team as an iOS Engineer to build and maintain Poe, Quora’s AI platform. You’ll design, develop, and optimize the Poe iOS application to deliver a seamless, engaging mobile experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the Poe iOS app with high performance and responsiveness
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and ship new features and improvements
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following iOS best practices
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure a smooth user experience
Stay current with iOS trends and incorporate innovative solutions
Take part in planning and sprint reviews within Agile processes
Contribute to the app’s technical strategy and architecture

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Proven iOS development experience with Swift and Objective-C
Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks, design principles, and best practices
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries/services
Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and performance optimization
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical concepts clearly

Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts
