About the role
Role Overview
Join a customer team as an iOS Developer on a contractor basis. You’ll help design, build, and maintain next-generation iOS mobile applications while working remotely with product, design, and engineering partners.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications following best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code for long-term maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure optimal performance and UX.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold high coding standards.
- Stay current with iOS trends, technologies, and frameworks.
- Communicate technical concepts and project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Proven iOS development experience using Swift and Objective-C.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, 3rd-party libraries, and Apple frameworks.
- Ability to write unit and UI tests.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication for remote teamwork.
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Prior work in Agile and remote teams serving global clients.
- Knowledge of App Store submission and release management processes.
