iOS Developer (Remote)

Role Overview

You will build and evolve Joveo’s mobile experience on Apple devices. Own iOS features end-to-end—from concept through App Store release—writing clean, performant, maintainable Swift code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality iOS applications using Swift
• Create responsive and accessible UI/UX aligned with Apple HIG
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs into mobile features
• Write unit and UI tests to prevent regressions
• Optimize performance (startup time, memory footprint)
• Collaborate with backend engineers and designers in an agile workflow

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK (UIKit and/or SwiftUI)
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Apple App Store
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, Clean)
• Familiarity with Xcode, Instruments, and Apple debugging tools
• Experience consuming REST APIs and managing complex async data flows
• Knowledge of App Store review guidelines and Apple platform policies

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience integrating both REST and GraphQL on mobile
• Deep familiarity with performance profiling and optimization (Instruments, memory/startup tuning)
