iOS Developer

Role Overview

Freelance/Contract iOS Developer to help build and refine native iOS experiences in a hands-on, product-focused engagement. You’ll work closely with product designers, strategists, and developers to translate high-fidelity designs into performant, maintainable iOS applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI and interactions
• Build reusable components and scalable architecture patterns
• Integrate APIs/backend services into mobile applications
• Optimize performance, responsiveness, and accessibility
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
• Troubleshoot issues and deliver quality solutions within project timelines
• Communicate clearly and work effectively with a distributed team

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI
• Experience building and shipping native iOS applications
• Solid understanding of iOS frameworks, architecture patterns, and mobile best practices
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous data flows
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong attention to detail for accurate implementation of design specifications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently remotely
• Availability during EST business hours throughout the engagement

Nice to Have

• Experience working with digital agencies or design studios
• UIKit experience and familiarity with legacy codebases
• Experience with animations, transitions, and polished mobile interactions
• Exposure to accessibility standards and performance optimization
• Experience collaborating directly with UX/UI design teams

Engagement Details

• Contract length: 7 weeks
• Dates: June 22, 2026 – August 7, 2026
• Location: Fully remote (U.S. preferred)
