About the role

Role Overview

Join a fully distributed Mobile Engineering team as an entry-level iOS Developer. You’ll design, build, and optimize native iOS applications using clean Swift code, responsive UI, and integrated API endpoints.

Responsibilities

  • Native iOS Development: Code, test, and deploy modular, maintainable iOS apps using Swift and core iOS SDK frameworks.
  • UI/UX Engineering: Translate designer wireframes into fluid, responsive interfaces using UIKit or SwiftUI.
  • API Integration: Integrate RESTful APIs and JSON to connect app UI with backend services.
  • Code Review & Version Control: Participate in peer code reviews; manage feature branches using Git (GitHub/GitLab).
  • Testing & Bug Mitigation: Write unit tests, use Xcode debugging tools to diagnose performance issues, and help fix glitches/memory leaks.
  • App Store Pipelines: Support build compilation, certificate signing, and deployment workflows to TestFlight and the Apple App Store (with senior engineers).

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS/Software Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent).
  • Experience: 0–2 years (entry-level). Strong internships, iOS capstone projects, or a Swift iOS portfolio are valued.
  • Core Technical Literacy: Foundational Swift, understanding of OOP and mobile architecture concepts such as MVC or MVVM.
  • Tooling Fluency: Hands-on experience with Xcode and Git repositories.
  • Remote Independence: Self-starter who communicates clearly and manages time across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Korean language proficiency (verbal and written) to support cross-border alignment.
  • Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Core Data, and/or asynchronous programming.
  • Exposure to mobile CI/CD automation (e.g., Fastlane, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
